Easter Home Tour 2014

It finally feels like SPRING is arriving here in Wisconsin. I think this is why I have finally started decorating the house for Easter! I don't go overboard with decorating for Easter, but I do enjoy having a few things to make our home feel a little more 'springy'!

My garland banner turned out GREAT! Especially since the material was FREE from a Stampin Up demonstrator! I think I might leave it up even after Easter has passed.

I decided our bulletin board/command center needed to be spruced up as well! I am pleased with how it turned out!

Our living room was decorated with our small children in mind. They love these adorable spring stuffed animals we have received over the years, so they helped me find homes for all of them! We have hodge- podge Easter baskets from hand me downs to second hand store purchases! They definitely add a little character to the room.

Here are a few more cute photos of our living room Easter decor.

This our coffee table with an old table runner that I have had for YEARS, hand painted wooden Easter eggs with my husband & I's names on them and a cute Happy Easter sign that I bought on clearance last year.

I love that Printable's can add so much to your decor. I printed this off the internet years ago and painted this second hand store frame to go with it.

Our dining room & kitchen weren't big focal points for our Easter decor, but I did find a few things to add!

Last but not least, I made an Easter Egg Garland for my dining room.  This project was more time consuming than I thought. Not a Pinterest fail per say, just a very time consuming one. I do love how it turned out though!

Thank you for joining me on my Easter decor house walk! I hope you too have added a little Easter & spring festivity to your home. You can do it very inexpensively by shopping in the Target dollar bins, Dollar stores or just items you have at home.

  1. I wish my family was more into Easter - other than brunch after church service, it's just a typical Sunday! I love your bunnies!
