Currently {vol. 13}

Currently {Vol. 13}

 I have been joining up with the always inspring A Mama Collective and just love her blog. She has started a series called: Currently. This series is just a regular, every day post about what is going on in her world that day. I am enjoying linking up each week with her Currently series!

Thinking about:  Why it is so hard to get back into a routine of eating better, eating less & exercising more? It shouldn't be that difficult, but it seems to be a cycle for me. I do really really well, then I really really don't.  I'm taking baby steps to get myself back at it...but some days, I just wanna be lazy. I'm getting there. Need to kick this cold so I can really kick it in gear! Can someone find me a money tree? I would like a trainer, a chef and a gym in my community! haha

Also thinking about my essential oils. I am glad I have something to help me with this cold other than a prescription. I know it's possible I might need one if I can't kick this. But I like knowing I am using something natural on the kids & myself as we are battling these colds.

Reading: Magazines. I have a whole pile I need to catch up on. I order magazines from our friends kids and our kids from fundraisers. I am realizing I need to cut back on them. I don't get a chance to read all of them!

Watching: The rain fall on my deck & the lightening strikes. Eeek! It has been raining since I got home from work almost 4 hours ago.

Listening to: The news on the TV in the background. Not ESPN, I know...such a change! haha

Craving:Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp! Mmmmm

Thankful for: An understanding husband. I have not felt good since Saturday evening and haven't been in the best mood since then. He always seems to understand and gives me hugs to make me feel better! I felt especially bad because yesterday was Father's Day. I had a headache all day & was so tired. So glad, I am feeling a little better today.

We still had a good weekend, despite me not feeling so hot.

Saturday afternoon, Amelia & I got our nails painted and shoe shopping at DSW while the boys went to Sky Zone to jump on the trampolines! She had been excited about it all week!

Sunday morning while I was making breakfast, my husband & the kids cuddled on the recliner while watching cartoons.

 Sunday afternoon, we enjoyed relaxing at the in-laws, while the kids were crazy with their bikes going through puddles of water & mud!

I took this beautiful photo on the way home last night. My husband took the backroads home & I was reminded how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful area.

Wishing: {Weekly Wish List for Sh*t I want to get done}

  2. Ugh, having a cold stinks! I hope you start feeling better soon! I love the photo you took of the back roads! Our area isn't as pretty...we're in suburbia land. I miss where I grew up where it was country and beautiful!

  3. I loooove OnGuard! That stuff is amazing. And I also have a pile of magazines to catch up on, I don't even remember how I became subscribed to so many in the first place but they just keep coming and I haven't even read the previous months yet! Where do you live, it looks beautiful! I'm hoping we get some rain soon here in Phoenix!

  4. We use DoTerra oils as well and love them. So many great uses and like you I love the idea of not having to fill our bodies with Rx unless necessary. I love all your pictures and the simple and big ways you love your family. Keep up the great work!
