Currently {vol.32}

I am joining up with Hannah at Joyful Life for this Currently series.  This series is just a regular, every day post about what is going on in my regular every day life that day. I am enjoying linking up each week with her Currently series!

Hello Friends! Happy Monday!

The gorgeous photo above was taken this weekend on our way to a friends house. The beauty of nature always amazes me!

Thinking: About marriage. Marriage isn't rainbows & unicorns, God never intended it to be. There are so many people that think marriage should be perfect. That every day should have spark & excitement. I agree, that there should be some spark & excitement, but it just isn't possible for every single day. We have good days, bad days & in between days, too. But we continue to love each other through it all.
Today, I printed off the 30 Day Marriage Challenge from iMOM for my husband & I to work on. I think having a little relationship refresher is good for any married couple.  iMOM is a wonderful website with great parenting, marriage & mom life tips. I receive weekly emails & encourage you to sign up too!

Dreaming: About my girls weekend to Portland, Oregon next week! Much needed girl time with one of my favorite cousin's, wine, amazing food,  relaxing and no obligations or set plans! Ahhhhh...I can't wait!

Organizing: Trying to organize paperwork in my kitchen & dining room. It is amazing how fast piles accumulate. I need to sort through all of it to decide what needs to be tossed, read or filed. The joys of adulthood.

Laughing at: My hilarious daughter. The things that come out of her mouth on a daily basis are so funny. I really should be writing it all down. She is our little comedian. The best part is, she makes herself laugh when she says funny things...and her laugh is so contagious!

Reading: See Above....Organizing! ha  I haven't got back to my piles of books yet, but I think I need to get rid of my piles of paperwork first.

Excited about: Taking my kids to the play Arthur's Halloween at the Children's Theater on Saturday. They are so excited to wear their costumes to the play! They put on AMAZING shows at this theater, I know this play will be great too!

Loving: My son's AMAZING Diamond Armour Minecraft costume that my mom made for him. He found the costume on Etsy and knew I wouldn't pay $250 for it. So, he decided to show Grandma, as he knew she would make it! She put it together in 3 evenings after work and it is incredible. We are so blessed!

My favorite Quote of the Day: This is a great quote & a good reminder for me as well!

  5. Your son's costume is AWESOME! My son is going as a creeper for Minecraft and I bought a hoodie and cardboard head on Amazon, I went the easy route! lol! That costume looks really comfortable, too. Oh, and I read something the other day, to not let mail touch the table... either file it or toss it right away. I guess easier said then done.

    1. We know a lot of boys going as Minecraft characters too!

      Most our piles are not mail...it's school papers, my blog paperwork, books, articles, magazines...

  7. I have lots of piles of books (and paperwork too). My husband despairs at the piles, but I need to clear the utility room so we can put a filling cabinet in there.
