Painting Birthday Party

This year, my daughter Amelia chose a Painting Birthday Party theme for her 4th birthday. She wanted everything to be rainbow colors and to do art projects at the party!  I found these adorable invitations on Etsy, had them personalized and printed them at a local printer! Easy!

We went with easy & simple decor, food, activities!  She was happy just the same. I ordered birthday hats, blowers, cups, plates, napkins and streamers from Party City. They were sent to my doorstep and ready to go!

I designed a little thank you note to tape on the watercolor paints that we gave to the kids as a take away gift, along with a coloring book and their painting that you will see shortly...

Our little family all ready for the party!

My son Collin was such a big helper, and I just love his big grin...so I had to share this photo!

Cheese!

Most of the time when I ask her to smile, I get weird cheesy grins. When she is not paying attention and laughing is when I get the best natural photos of her.

Lucky girl with all of her birthday gifts!

Thank you Grandma for the beautiful Elsa dress! Usually Grandma makes her gorgeous dresses, but she found this one on clearance and couldn't pass it up!

It's painting time! She was so excited to have all of her cousin's painting with her. They painted on their own 8x11 canvas that they were all able to take home with them!

Cupcake Time! We have a wonderful friend that makes delicious gourmet cupcakes for our birthday parties!

Dig in! ha

The birthday girl had a happy day and that is all that matters. Sometimes, I get too excited about a Pinterest worthy party that I forget about what she might want...so this year, we paired it down a bit and she loved it just the same! Lesson learned momma, lesson learned.
