Florida Spring Break: Magic Kingdom Day 2

Day 6 of our Florida Spring Break vacation brought us to Magic Kingdom. This was our second day of fun enjoying Disney World. It was another hot day in Florida, but we had a blast!  Our second morning at Magic Kingdom began a little earlier than the first, as we had to arrive early for our breakfast with the princesses at Cinderella's Castle!

I definitely recommend having a meal with the princesses. Although this is an expensive meal, it was well worth it. We decided when booking MONTHS in advance that it would only be my daughter & I, as I knew my son & husband could care less to hug the princesses.   We started with pictures & signatures with Cinderella and then up the stairs to our table by the windows. Our server brought us juice, fresh donuts & rolls and discussed the menu. The kids meal consisted of eggs, bacon, & french toast sticks. I chose the apple cream cheese stuffed french toast, it was delicious! During our breakfast, we met 5 princesses! They hugged, signed autograph books and took photos with us! We would have had to wait in line for HOURS to see all of these princesses and we were able to do it all in one hour! After our breakfast, she received a wishing star & a wand! Our little princess was in heaven!

Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel & Princess Jasmine were absolutely beautiful and so kind.

After our princess breakfast & finding our other halves, we headed out to enjoy the rest of our day!

Rides on the Magic Carpet, Splash Mountain & creating coins were just a few of the fun things we did next!

C enjoyed climbing through the Swiss Family Robinson home. I remembered climbing through almost 18 years ago!  We took the ferry boat ride over to Tom Sawyer's island to explore and look around! We were lucky to see Peter Pan with out a long line too!

Our princess had to ride the Carousel again & Mommy had to try a Dole Whip for the first time-Yum!!

The Main Street Confectionary was one of my favorite stops at Magic Kingdom. We stopped in the evening before visiting Mickey Mouse & fireworks. It was heaven on earth with all the delicious dessert options! We bought Mickey Mouse rice crispy bars, Mickey Mouse gingerbread men, gummy candies and more!

The highlight of the trip for little Miss A was seeing Elsa & Anna! We used one of our Fast Passes for this attraction and I am glad we did, as it was a 2 hour wait to see them!  She talked about seeing them for weeks!

The highlight for me was seeing Mickey Mouse! Every time I walked by Town Square, I checked out what the line wait time was to see Mickey. We were not willing to wait 2 hours to see him. On our way out of the confectionary, we realized that the line was only 40 minutes long. This would be our only chance to see him, so I jumped at the opportunity! Hugging Mickey Mouse makes you feel like a kid all over again. My kids were so excited to meet him for the first time!

The perfect end to our trip to Magic Kingdom. I gave Mickey a huge hug after my kids gave hugs first, I felt like I was 6 years old again! I truly believe you can enjoy Disney World at any age!

Our last day of vacation, we enjoyed a little bit of R&R at our Disney resort.

It was hard to say goodbye to the warm sun & Florida fun. Goodbye Florida, we will be back again someday!

  1. Wow! It looks like your kids got to meet just about everyone. When I was little, I always lived within a mile of Disneyland but never was able to go. I loved the fireworks, though. Now, I enjoy taking my grandchildren. It really does make for a special day they will always remember.

  2. I have been to Disney several times and I have NEVER tried a dole whip there! Agh! I am so changing that in two months when we go :) I just set up our Fast Passes online a few days ago and the ONLY times they have left for Elsa & Anna was at 7:10pm and later!! And, this was the first day I could go in to do our fast passes, so it wasn't like I waited... Anyway, at least we won't have to wait 2 hours! We did lunch at Cinderella's castle last time (2 yrs ago) and this year we are doing dinner there and lunch at Be Our Guest. I have never had breakfast there, but it looks so yummy! It looks like you had a blast!

  6. We just did MK with the kids in February (I still have yet to blog it!) and it was SO magical! We opted out of the meal with the characters due to budget (why are those SO expensive) but tried to utilize the fast passes to the best of our abilities and maximize our time there! Was the Mickey you met talking?! The one we met did and I have NO idea how they do that! So fun! Love MK!!! xox
