Currently {Vol. 12}

 I have been joining up with the always inspring A Mama Collective and just love her blog. She has started a series called: Currently. This series is just a regular, every day post about what is going on in her world that day. I am enjoying linking up each week with her Currently series!

Thinking about:So many things, like usual. My brain just never stops, even when I sleep I dream nonstop!
The first thing I am thinking about is our busy week! We have bible school every evening, starting last night from 6-8:15pm. It makes for a crazy week by the time you get home & wind down, clean up and get the kids to bed. I love what they learn & sing while they are there, but momma is pooped by Thursday too!

Also thinking about Friday night! I am sooooo excited for my college girlfriends to come to my house for a good old fashioned slumber party! Everyone is bringing yummy food and I am making Taco Salads & Margarita's for supper on Friday night. Everyone will be  staying the night to catch up on old times! Most of the time, we always have husbands & young children with us, therefore never really able to give each other the focus to catch up on what is going on in our lives.

Thinking about Father's Day! How can it be this Sunday already? I need to finish shopping for gifts, how does this sneak up on me every year? I ordered personalized frames for my husband & dad from Gifts for you Now!

Reading: The 52 weeks book again. I started it and then forgot about it a few months ago...hoping to really get back into it this week!

Watching:Very little on TV, but a little news. Tonight, I was watching children at Vacation Bible School. I was a volunteer in the Kindergarten class! Definitely a busy bunch of children! I love watching them learn about the bible and sing God's praises!

Listening to: The news in the living room. I've decided that watching the news most of the time is depressing. Everything seems to be bad news lately.   

Thankful for:Once again, my wonderful weekend with my family!

Friday evening, we filled his room with balloons & put streamers on his door frame, so that when he woke up on his birthday, he would see it!

Saturday morning,  it was raining... so we headed to the new Cabela's in Woodbury, MN to explore and then went to the new Chuck E Cheese to celebrate for Collin's 6th Birthday. The kids have never been to  Chuck E Cheese before, so we had some fun playing games! I hadn't been to a Chuck E Cheese in over 20 years!

Saturday evening & Sunday, we went to my hometown's local festival called Funfest. The kids loved riding rides, playing games, eating fair food & watching the parade!  We were able to watch my grandparents, as the Grand Marshall's of the parade! 

Finished the weekend with ice cold Popsicles on the front deck! 

Very thankful for my feature on the Rhonna Designs App starter page for this week! Yay! This was the photo that was chosen. 

Wishing: {Weekly Wish List for Sh*t I want to get done}
 This week: 
1. Workout as much as I can! With Vacation Bible School this week, I am going to walk on my breaks & lunch at work if I can. 
2. Make healthier food choices.
3. Get through Vacation Bible School without a meltdown from my children or me!
4. Get my house cleaned up & ready for my college girlfriends slumber party on Friday night!
 

Last weeks wish list: 
1. Continue to workout & eat healthy. I have 26 days till my cousin's wedding and I want to look fit in my dress!-TRYING harder all the time! Someday's are harder than others.

2. Meal Plan for the upcoming week with new healthy meal ideas-YES! I did!!

3.Enjoy my little man on Saturday as he is turning 6. I am still not sure how this is possible.- I sure did! We had a great day together!
