This year, I didn't set out any lofty goals for the year; I decided to work on monthly goals. Last month was a crazy month with substitute teaching, going to Mexico with my husband and starting my new job. April is a new month!! This month I have decided to share my monthly goals in hopes that it pushes me a little harder to keep them & work a little harder.
1. Take at least 10,000 steps a day. I am hoping my new Fitbit will help me get to my goal. I have been having a hard time getting back into gear after vacation. I am really excited about my new Fitbit and the challenges each week to get my steps in.
2. Clean out my scrapbook room/sewing room/exercise room. It's time to clean up the room that looks like a tornado went through. It's going to be a really big task, but it needs to be done! I have been compiling "stuff" in my craft room for years. I haven't actually spent time working in the room for over a year, besides working out on my elliptical. I am dreading the cleaning part, but I know that it will be so nice to have the space back.
3. Prepare meals ahead of time. I would like to start making a few meals on the weekend to have during the week. I know it will make life a lot easier during the week. I enjoy cooking, but during the week it is so hard to have healthy and filling meals after a busy day at work and before sports or meetings.
What are your monthly goals?
I have been working on my craft room, it is SUCH a mess! I hope you share photos of yours when you are done :)

Those are GREAT goals! Think I need to start saving up for a fitbit, every since my ehrlichiosis I've had a horrible time getting active again!
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE the idea of monthly goals and writing them down. Last month I did them on the team call and wrote them on my white board, time to do Aprils!
