Hello Friends! Happy Monday!

Excited about: Saturday! My hubby & I are going on an ALL DAY DATE DAY! We haven't had an all day date day in a really long time.  Sometimes, I feel a little guilty for leaving the kids all day on the weekend, after a crazy work week. But, my husband tells me that we deserve it and they will be JUST FINE. So we are going to do a little shopping, stop at a winery and go out for a nice dinner! Can you tell that I am just a tad bit excited?

Planning:A long girls weekend in November to Portland, Oregon to meet my cousin from Alaska! Our last girls trip was in October 2012 to Sonoma wine country. I can't wait to see her & to see Portland for the first time!  Have you been to Portland? What are the MUST SEE's?

Loving: My two adorable kids that want to be just like their daddy! They can't wait to wear their new camouflage to go hunting! 

Cooking: My kids favorite meal...Tator Tot Hotdish! I made it on Sunday for our college friends and I will be making it again on Wednesday evening when our friends come over. Everyone loves it! My grandma makes it, my mom makes it and now I make it. A midwest tradition of delicious hotdish!

Thankful for: A wonderful friend that photographed our family on Sunday! Here is a sneak peek, more coming soon!  This one is my favorite so far!

Pushing myself to: Work out more & eat a little less. Why does this have to be so difficult sometimes? I just want to get rid of these 5-7 lbs that I "accidentally" put back on over these past 6 months! Today, I went for 2 walks at work on my break and went on the elliptical tonight. I will get back to it, slowly but surely.
