Remembering... Those who have fallen while fighting for our freedom. I am so thankful for all they have done done for us. Prayers to all of you that have lost loved ones in the line of duty. I know that our freedom would not be free without them!
Celebrating... 16 years with this guy! We started dating after our junior year of high school. I am so blessed to be sharing our lives together! This fall we will be celebrating 10 years of marriage.
Enjoying... Field trip day with my son on Friday! We went to the Children's museum & the Como Zoo with his class! It was a gorgeous sunny day & I enjoyed being with him and his friends.
Relaxing...By our first campfire of the year in our own backyard. Friday evening, we grilled steaks with my parents & sat by the campfire for the evening. I loved spending the evening outside and eating delicious s'mores!
Thankful for... A beautiful day kayaking down the river with my sister in law. Much needed relaxation, quiet, exercise, and time in the great outdoors sans technology! Loved every minute and can't wait to go back!
Quote of the Day... Offline is the new luxury! This much needed technology free afternoon was a perfect reminder for me to take more time without technology! I encourage you to take this time as well, you won't regret it!

I just spend 4 days off line besides having text. It was nice to be able to unplug for a few days! Hoping to take a few moments shortly to get a currently post up, it has been too long since I have posted on my blog!
ReplyDeleteMy blogging game has been so off since starting a new job I've missed Currently posts...hopefully I'll get one written next week. One of the things I like about my new job is that I can't have my phone on me while working so it's a forced offline, but I actually like it. You and your husband are adorable!

Offline is great. I don't do it enough but when I'm cruising and its forced offline it is nice. I do end up missing it a bit but since it's so expensive to get online even if I do it is quick and effective which gives me just the fix I need. ;)
